Toire no hanako-san
the legend goes when you knock three times on the 3rd stall from the last one and ask hamako san are you there, She will answer. This legend is same as the bloody mary of western origin. this legend has different variation depending on the place or school. there is a version of this legend when hanako answers and the person opens the door he will be killed, there is also one version where hanako's bloody hands reach out of the stall.
Hitobashira
hitobashira is a prayer to the gods so that the infrastructure will not be destroyed in times of disasters or calamity it is said that human lives are offered to the gods to ensure the structure will not be destroyed. Stories like this also spreads here in the Philippines and some of the structure here that was build a long time ago is said to have some human remains in the walls and in the pillars of the structure.
Red Room Curse
This urban legend is fit for the generation today this legend involves the internet and a computer. a pop up will show. the image simply shows a red door and a recorded voice asks "Do you like-". Even if the pop up is closed it will repeatedly reappear until the voice finally completes the question: "Do you like the red room?". Those who have seen the pop-up are found dead, their walls painted red in their own blood.
this legend involves a murder case in japan called "sasebo slashing".
